I think you solve the current issue with call-outs by implementing a rule where if you sell within 30 mins of a call-out you are not eligible for rewards There is no doubt call-out rewards have been a net benefit for on-chain and I think this change would incentive holding/beli
People like @hdegroott would earn the most from callout rewards if this change took place which is exactly how it should be. No idea how much he made on call-out rewards on $BATON but this mfer has ran it up 10x and is up $275k because he BELIEVED and held for multiple days. Whoever bought on his first call-out is up a fuck tonne (I’m gutted I faded him) Fundamentally callout rewards should be for adding value. You add value by your followers winning Reward believing + your followers winning and I think the @Pumpfun App ecosystem as a whole would thrive

@AgadooAgadoo True but a big factor of the call-out reward is the number of Xs a coin does. The more someone farms with side wallets the fewer Xs it does hence the lower the callout rewards are. Ultimately if your followers are winning even if you are using side wallets I think that trader deserves to be rewarded. Maybe even just changing it to “how much did people copy trading your callout make” = what your reward is

@HopiumPapi Call-out rewards have come a long way since inception and I think over next 12 months will find the perfect balance of rewarding volume (which is what pump make money off) and rewarding performance/holding. Defo a net positive for on-chain trading just need to make sure the incentives reward good traders over people farming

@HopiumPapi I agree with your take but at the same time I’d love to see an adjustment to the call-out rewards which incentivises holding/believing in something + maybe something like you only get callout rewards on a 5k shitter if it reaches a threshold (let’s say $100k)
