Reports say insiders at Anthropic, OpenAI, and other firms are planning for a large-scale cyberattack that could cut people off from their money, the internet, even power and water. Anthropic’s CEO has already warned rogue SI could seize control of the internet in 6 months to a year.
🇺🇸 Anthropic is reportedly building a system to watch anti-AI activists and flag people it believes could pose a threat. The company’s security team has discussed monitoring activists near Anthropic offices and executives, and in some cases contacting police before any crime happened. Anthropic did not comment on the report.
