$PAID’s "proof" is a real payment network with receipts that aren’t theirs. $TIPPED’s "proof" is “trust our site.” Once the SOL is in their wallet, they can print whatever “paid to creators” number they want and nobody outside TikTok’s private gift log can disprove it — which is why a creator can say they got $0 while the site still claims they were paid.
$PAID can show a payment leaving their hands. $TIPPED can only show a page they wrote.
$PAID / UsePaidFees get claimed on-chain, converted to dollars, then sent through X Money to a named handle. X itself is the rails. That produces an actual payment object: a send, a claimable, or a receipt from X — not a graphic on their site. The 20% buyback/burn is also on-chain. Someone can check whether money hit an X Money account. That’s why people treat it as “shown.”
