@Fitzybrypto I agree. I dont have the numbers on hand but I would be willing to bet it was less supply in the hands of the bundlers on average due to the higher starting mc and less scammer launches overall due to the lower fees. I dont think "vibes" can be the cause of such a big difference in success rate and ceiling.

@Fitzybrypto I think it was due to fundamental differences like higher starting market cap and paying deployers less. Healthier LPs and less scammers with the sole purpose of extracting but I do agree that starting off without a token is a good thing for launchpads.

@DustNukes But who knows if the launchpads make more money because more tokens survive to higher mc's and end up with way more volume. Fartcoin was a huge % of the total volume of memecoins for a while.

@Fitzybrypto screw what people say about them, the tokens had higher ceilings and higher success rates. its facts and theres no denying it and all they did was raise the mc to $20k. Now heres the thing, Im not sure how they did it tbh but its possible now to have a token start at a higher cap but not have a thicker LP than a normal launchpad token. Basically just to limit people from accumulating too much supply for too cheap at low mc's.

@Fitzybrypto Nothing will guarantee a token to be successful. I think all you can do is adapt with the times and give them the best possible chance for survival. In the current market with the tooling advancements, Ai advancements and launchpads we now have a situation where single individuals / groups are basically launching/buying up supply on everything early making it impossible for anything to survive. Look at the numbers from longxyz compared to the $4k starting mc launchpads, theres definitely good data there. Then this new social trading thing adds a whole new dynamic to it as well.

@Fitzybrypto what launches are you referring to? If I had to guess I would guess the number 1 thing preventing any community from forming on anything would be the massive amounts of sell pressure from bundles constantly murdering everything that launches causing people to never hold anything because they know if they blink at the wrong time the coin will be at 0 before they open their eyes lol

@0xBiZzy issue is that users demand the $4k mcap coins if every launchpad switched rn to $50k then a new launchpad would come out with the old mechanics and users would flock to it if people actually did enjoy these models more we’d see Bankr, Long, and Curve be the top launchpads
@Schoen_xyz you are correct, the same way people love heroin. but also people follow launchers in the end and launchers love being able to extract as much as possible. $4k launchers enable this.
